Members of the International Mines Rescue Body have agreed that only the Central Mines Rescue Body / Organisation / Institute that is responsible for training of Brigadesmen, mobilisation of rescue teams, co-ordinating the rescue capabilities, would be entitled to membership of the IMRB. Where more than one such Body / Organisation / Institute exists in a country each can become members but there would only one vote from that country on IMRB issues.
This does not preclude other organisations e.g. Universities, research organisations, mining companies, suppliers etc. from participating in the International Mines Rescue Conferences.
Please read section 4 of the IMRB regulations for regulations pertaining to IMRB membership.
